Meet Our Founder, Irene
Irene Makriplis is the founder of Irene Organics and a Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant at Lullaby & Me Sleep Consulting. Irene developed a passion for helping parents with their children’s sleep over her 10 year career as a nanny.
Aside from her love of children, Irene also had a passion for making her own natural, homemade products and realized that the children she cared for responded well to her DIY products in comparison to store brand products. So many of the products on the shelves are filled with chemicals, toxins and artificial ingredients and fragrances that can do more harm than good to ours and our children's skin.
In 2020, Irene discovered she was expecting her first child and wanted to create a product for herself and other moms that she knew was 100% safe and effective to use. That's when she created a line of products that would help mothers like her to keep their skin feeling and looking good in a Natural way without any harm.
Irene Organics won Best Postpartum & Baby Skincare Brand (Northeast - USA) in 2022 from LuxeLife Magazine as well as Best Natural Prenatal & Postnatal Skincare Brand in 2023.

Our Mission
Driven by her personal experiences, Irene has made it her mission to discover the most pristine and secure products for everyday use. After witnessing her mother's battle with breast cancer, Irene was determined to make positive changes in her lifestyle. Through self-guided education, she gained a deep understanding of the harmful substances to avoid and the advantages of integrating organic and natural ingredients into her routine. With this knowledge, she embarked on a journey towards a healthier and cleaner way of living, bidding farewell to numerous daily essentials that many of us take for granted.
During her first pregnancy, she grappled with the dilemma of finding products that would provide both safety and effectiveness. Driven by this challenge, she took it upon herself to develop her own line of pregnancy skincare products! The year 2021 saw the birth of her first son, acting as a constant reminder and inspiration for the creation of the Baby Skincare Collection.
In the spring of 2023, Irene gave birth to her second son while simultaneously launching her Bath & Body line. This line includes Bath Salt Soaks and a Body Scrub that are perfect for use during and after pregnancy.
Each year, Irene Organics goes above and beyond to support the community, making a positive impact through our donations to breast cancer research and pediatric cancer research.
